Will there be an audiobook?
That's the plan! It will hopefully come out later summer/autumn.
Why is the hardcover edition less pages on Amazon?
Because of printing costs and restrictions on Amazon! So keep in mind the hardcover font is a size smaller. (Sorry besties, I wrote a thick book).
Is Fate of the Five traditional or indie published?
Indie, self published *cries in poor*.
How long is it?
Word count wise, it's about 260k (approximately as long as the first Name of the Wind/Game of Thrones book).
Is there spice?
In this book, no.
Is this romance or plot dominant?
I'd say in this one, 80% plot, 20% romance, but remember this is the first in a series, mwhahahaha.
How many books will be the series?
Fate of the Five will altogether consist of Five Books - a trilogy set in the present with two prequels!
Fate of the Five is set in the year 1118. The first Prequel Novella - Fate of the Forsaken, features some different main characters and is set 19 years earlier. You can read it in the Bewitched Blooms Anthology! It will also come out as it's own book with bonus material in late 2025.
The other prequel will feature main characters from the trilogy and likely be a full length novel. (But I can't tell you much more about it because it's a spoiler!)
When is the second one coming out?
As soon as possible basically, but I'm saying sometime 2026 right now.
Is there queer rep?
There are several romance subplots in this story including heterosexual and queer ones. The queer romance is MM.
How many POVs are there?
Eight...
Is this romantasy or epic fantasy?
More epic fantasy.

Adult. But anyone 15± could read it.

Is there going to be an art/sticker store?
Yes! There's been a delay in that, there will shortly be:
- A store on Inprint for art prints
- A store for postcards and stickers on redbubble

Are there trigger warnings?
Yes - they are as follows:
Trigger warnings include mention/involvement of - Violence, blood, sexual assault, domestic abuse, child abuse, suicide, substance use, mental health issues, panic attacks, derealization, captivity, infant harm, ableism (towards a disabled main character), torture.

What other stuff are you writing?
You can find a post with all my WIPs on Instagram! Currently, aside from writing the Fate of the Five series, I'm mainly working on a project called To Forge A Sinner (about the seven deadly sins who have to team up against their will on a mission to make someone commit sin). I'm hoping to query this project with agents later in the year, but if that doesn't go to plan, I'll definitely self publish it in 2026. It's going to be a duology!
